Not every fragrance needs to be assigned a gender. These are the two Aadab compositions balanced enough to sit well on any skin — no assumptions about who should wear what, just materials that work.
The two
Jalib is sweet without being sugary. Mandarin, pineapple and Granny Smith apple open it, tart and green, then cedarwood, oakmoss and vanilla move in underneath. The base is caramel and ambergris over dry woods and musk — warm, slightly addictive, and the kind of thing people stop you to ask about. Ten to twelve hours, strong projection, Rs 2,500.
Oudh e Meer is our only in-house composition. Bright citrus, white florals, then a light agarwood with white musk, amber and sandalwood. An oud that stays gentle rather than overwhelming, which makes it far easier to share. Twelve to fourteen hours, Rs 1,900.
How to tell if a fragrance is genuinely unisex
It usually comes down to the base. Compositions built on woods, musk, amber and citrus tend to read as neutral, while heavy white florals or very sweet gourmands tend to read as feminine and sharp fougeres as masculine. Both fragrances here sit in that neutral middle.
